The Point Social is an exclusive club for female founders in the Seattle neighborhoods of Seahurst, Three Tree Point, and Normandy Park. I wanted this brand to feel both exclusive and inviting, which can be a tricky balance. I drew inspiration from vintage letter clubs, the lost art of sending someone you admire a handwritten note of encouragement.
The brand mark features a hand-drawn dahlia, a symbol of elegance, inner strength, and creativity. It also represents a lasting bond, something The Point really stands for. For the typography, I hand-lettered a calligraphy typeface to bring in that vintage postnote feel and paired it with a typewriter-inspired font for structure and contrast.
